Reproductive Health Manager (Sudan)

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a solutions‑driven Reproductive Health Manager to lead its RMNCAH (Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health) programmes in Sudan. You will ensure high‑quality service delivery, coordinate donor reporting, and strengthen partnerships with the Ministry of Health and local health authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance for concept notes, proposals, budgets and donor reports across all IRC Sudan reproductive health projects.
• Coordinate RMNCAH projects, develop and monitor work plans, and ensure compliance with donor timelines.
• Develop, review, disseminate and monitor SOPs and protocols for RMNCAH service delivery.
• Conduct needs assessments, provider skills assessments and design capacity‑building initiatives (trainings, mentorship, coaching).
• Supervise field teams, ensure quality data collection, and generate regular RH performance reports.
• Lead technical performance reviews, analyse KPI data and produce evidence‑based learning products.
• Represent IRC in Ministry of Health forums and maintain strong liaison with county health departments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing RMNCAH programmes in humanitarian or low‑resource settings.
• Strong knowledge of national and WHO reproductive health guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams, conduct assessments and deliver capacity‑building activities.
• Excellent analytical skills for monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
