Medical Doctor – Cardiac Care (Full‑time)

About the role

The Medical Doctor will join a specialised cardiac care facility in Khartoum, delivering comprehensive clinical care to patients with cardiovascular diseases. This full‑time, on‑site position involves direct patient interaction, diagnosis, treatment planning and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The role supports the centre’s commitment to clinical excellence and patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct history taking, physical examinations and formulate diagnoses for cardiac patients.
• Manage inpatient and outpatient cases, including post‑operative monitoring and medication prescribing.
• Review diagnostic tests, participate in ward rounds and clinical meetings.
• Coordinate care with surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists and allied health professionals.
• Maintain accurate medical records and contribute to patient and family education.

Required profile

• Valid medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completed internship; cardiology or internal medicine training preferred.
• Current medical licence (or eligibility) in Sudan and good professional standing.
• Demonstrated experience in hospital settings, especially cardiology, critical care or surgical wards.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends and on‑call duties in a high‑volume environment.
• Strong communication skills in English; Arabic knowledge or willingness to learn is an advantage.
