Rehabilitation Technical Officer – Stimulation Therapy

About the role

Humanity & Inclusion (HI) is seeking a Rehabilitation Technical Officer to lead stimulation therapy for under‑five malnourished children in Tawilah, North Darfur. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will provide technical guidance, ensure protocol compliance, and mentor rehabilitation professionals while fostering a culture of child development among caregivers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and support to project leaders and specialists, ensuring stimulation therapy activities follow HI quality standards.
• Adapt project documentation, develop tools, and ensure their availability for stimulation therapy.
• Collect, analyse, and report stimulation therapy data in collaboration with the MEAL team.
• Coordinate with nutrition actors and support technical learning, including training, mentorship, and capacity‑building for staff.
• Contribute to sector animation by leading initial trainings, supporting recruitment, and facilitating a community of practice.
• Represent HI’s technical expertise in local, regional, and international networks and assist in proposal writing and advocacy.
• Support emergency preparedness actions and adapt work modalities during crises.
