WASH Officer (P2) – Full Time – Port Sudan

About the role

The WASH Officer will support UNICEF Sudan’s Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) programme, contributing to child survival, development, protection and resilience in a complex humanitarian and development environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare, consolidate, analyse and quality‑review programme performance information, donor reports, situation reports (SitReps) and humanitarian updates.
  • Support accountability and reporting obligations to key development and humanitarian partners such as the African Development Bank, World Bank, Government of the Netherlands and KfW.
  • Manage information, facilitate knowledge sharing and document results, lessons learned and best practices.
  • Coordinate with development and humanitarian partners to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Required profile

  • Experience working on WASH programmes in humanitarian or development contexts.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with multiple donors and partners and adhere to UN reporting standards.
  • Excellent written communication in English.
