Technical Officer (Beneficiary Data Management)

About the role

UNICEF Sudan is scaling up humanitarian cash operations across the country. The Technical Officer (Beneficiary Data Management) will oversee the full data lifecycle for beneficiaries, ensuring accurate registration, verification, and payment processes within the HOPE ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Manage beneficiary and payee registration, data verification and targeting quality.
• Coordinate with Financial Service Providers (FSPs) to ensure smooth cash disbursements.
• Support grievance redress mechanisms and payment verification.
• Utilise HOPE reporting tools and dashboards to monitor implementation, compliance and reporting.
• Provide technical guidance to field teams on data management best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Data Analysis, Business Studies, Social Science or a related field.
• Experience in humanitarian or cash‑based assistance programmes is desirable.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to data quality and integrity.
