Information Management Officer – Humanitarian Health

About the role

The Information Management Officer (IMO) will support health coordination in North Darfur by ensuring timely, high‑quality data collection, analysis and dissemination. Working remotely with occasional travel, the IMO will be seconded to the WHO‑sub‑national Health Cluster and will collaborate with national health authorities, UN agencies and NGOs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Health Cluster information management function, guaranteeing reliable data flow from sub‑national hubs and partners.
• Identify data gaps, resolve quality issues and standardise reporting across the response.
• Translate complex health and operational data into dashboards, maps, situation reports and other decision‑support products.
• Maintain and update core information tools such as 4Ws, HeRAMS, ActivityInfo, GIS dashboards and assessment templates.
• Provide technical guidance to partners on data collection, analysis and humanitarian planning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in health information management within humanitarian or emergency settings.
• Strong understanding of health cluster coordination mechanisms and UN/OCHA reporting standards.
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining close coordination with Relief International and partner agencies.
