Reproductive Health Officer

About the role
The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Reproductive Health Officer to support the delivery of essential RMNCAH services in Sudan. The role involves ensuring high‑quality reproductive health care, managing data, and strengthening coordination with local partners and authorities.
Key responsibilities
- Support implementation of RMNCAH services in IRC‑supported facilities and outreach programs, adhering to SOPs and national guidelines.
- Conduct needs assessments, provide feedback on service gaps, and participate in capacity‑building activities such as training, mentorship, and supportive supervision.
- Oversee accurate recording, verification, and timely reporting of reproductive health data; assist in monitoring KPIs and contribute to program reviews.
- Liaise with health authorities, community leaders, and partners to strengthen program linkages and represent IRC in coordination meetings.
- Carry out field monitoring visits, document lessons learned, and ensure compliance with donor and IRC monitoring requirements.
- Travel to field sites as needed, monitor safety conditions, and perform other tasks assigned by the RH/Health Manager.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery or a related field.
- Valid license to practice as a doctor, nurse, or midwife in Sudan.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience implementing sexual and reproductive health programs, preferably in humanitarian or emergency settings.
