Reproductive Health Manager

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Reproductive Health Manager to lead and strengthen its RMNCAH (Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health) programmes in Sudan. This role will provide technical assistance, ensure compliance with national and WHO guidelines, and drive high‑quality service delivery across IRC health projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance in designing concept notes, proposals, budgets and donor reports for all IRC Sudan reproductive health projects.
• Coordinate RMNCAH projects across IRC programmes, develop and monitor work plans to meet donor timelines.
• Develop, review, disseminate and monitor SOPs and protocols for RMNCAH service delivery.
• Conduct program needs assessments, stay updated on government/WHO RMNCAH guidelines and inform IRC staff.
• Lead periodic provider skills assessments and organise capacity‑building activities such as trainings, mentorship and coaching.
• Supervise field teams to ensure quality assurance, technical support supervision and continuous improvement.
• Strengthen partnerships with Ministry of Health, county health departments and represent IRC in relevant forums.
• Oversee RH data collection, reporting and analysis of key performance indicators to inform program design and learning.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing reproductive health or RMNCAH programmes in humanitarian or development settings.
• Strong knowledge of national and WHO RMNCAH guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct assessments, develop SOPs and lead capacity‑building initiatives.
• Experience coordinating with government health ministries and multi‑sectoral partners.
• Excellent analytical skills for monitoring KPIs and generating evidence‑based reports.
