Emergency Information Management and Reporting Officer

About the role
UNICEF is seeking an experienced Emergency Information Management & Reporting Officer to support humanitarian response operations in Sudan. The officer will lead the collection, validation and analysis of humanitarian data, and produce dashboards, maps and analytical products that inform evidence‑based decision‑making during the crisis.
Key responsibilities
- Manage emergency information systems, databases, reporting tools and knowledge repositories.
- Collect, validate, analyse and synthesize data from field offices, partners and programmes.
- Develop dashboards, maps, infographics and other analytical products to support operational decisions.
- Monitor humanitarian developments, identify trends, risks and response gaps.
- Prepare situation reports, briefing notes, management updates and senior‑leadership reporting packages.
- Support emergency preparedness, contingency planning and response monitoring.
- Facilitate information sharing and coordination across UNICEF teams and humanitarian partners.
- Maintain reporting calendars, meeting records, action trackers and follow‑up matrices.
- Promote data quality, protection standards and inclusion of age, gender, disability and equity considerations.
- Develop guidance materials, SOPs and support staff capacity‑building initiatives.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Statistics, Data Science, GIS, Monitoring & Evaluation or a related field.
- Minimum five years of experience in information management, humanitarian reporting, monitoring & evaluation or related areas.
- Experience working with humanitarian organisations and emergency response operations is highly desirable.
- Fluent English (required).

What we offer
- Monthly Living Allowance of US$ 3,805 – US$ 4,255.
