Business Expansion Lead

About the role

The Business Expansion Lead will drive sales growth across the assigned territory by partnering with distributors and DP World’s outbound teams. The role focuses on building an optimal distributor network, ensuring DP World remains a neutral partner while advancing the interests of affiliates in the healthcare sector.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and service orders by engaging distributors and coordinating with outbound teams.
• Design and implement an optimal distributor network within the territory.
• Maintain DP World’s neutrality with all distributors while promoting mutual affiliate interests.
• Achieve sales targets for all principals and support accurate forecasting and market insights.
• Resolve operational issues quickly between distributors and DP World.
• Monitor market trends, collect competitive intelligence and share findings.
• Provide leadership oversight for sales representatives.
• Ensure distributors maintain appropriate inventory levels to avoid stock‑outs or over‑stocking.
• Interact with customers to advance strategic business objectives.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify expansion opportunities within the territory.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Science, Sales & Marketing or Business.
• Minimum 10 years of senior sales management experience with a proven track record in healthcare.
• Extensive experience in distributor management and deep knowledge of the local distributor network.
• Cross‑functional experience with marketing and supply‑chain functions.
• Understanding of the regulatory landscape of the territory.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite.
