Program Manager – Rapid Interventions through Shared Engagement (RISE)

About the role

The Program Manager for the Rapid Interventions through Shared Engagement (RISE) program will lead the design, implementation, monitoring, and adaptation of emergency humanitarian interventions across East Darfur, Khartoum, and Blue Nile. Reporting to senior leadership, the role ensures high‑quality, integrated delivery of multisector activities that protect vulnerable children and families.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall strategic and technical leadership for all project sectors (Protection, WASH, Health, Nutrition, Education in Emergencies).
• Develop, review, and update the integrated technical strategy to ensure coherence, complementarity, and synergy across sectors.
• Coordinate with sector specialists, zonal operations managers, base managers, government counterparts, local partners, clusters, donors, and the World Vision Support Office.
• Ensure compliance with humanitarian principles, Sphere Standards, Core Humanitarian Standards, INEE Minimum Standards, and donor requirements.
• Oversee grant management, budgeting, reporting, and adaptive management to achieve measurable results.
• Facilitate information sharing and collaboration within the project and with related grants to maximize impact.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing large‑scale humanitarian programs across multiple sectors.
• Strong knowledge of humanitarian standards, donor compliance, and emergency response frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with government and partner agencies.
• Excellent analytical, planning, and reporting skills.
