Program Manager – Rapid Interventions (RISE)

About the role

The Rapid Interventions through Shared Engagement (RISE) programme seeks a senior Program Manager to lead multi‑sector emergency response across East Darfur, Khartoum and Blue Nile. You will ensure high‑quality, timely and integrated delivery of humanitarian interventions for vulnerable children and families.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall strategic and technical leadership for the design, implementation, monitoring and adaptation of Protection, WASH, Health, Nutrition and Education in Emergencies.
• Lead the development and periodic review of an integrated technical strategy that ensures coherence, complementarity and synergy across sectors.
• Oversee grant management, compliance and reporting for the RISE programme.
• Manage the programme budget, ensure financial accountability and produce regular performance reports.
• Coordinate with sector specialists, zonal operations managers, base managers, government counterparts, local partners, clusters, donors and the World Vision Support Office.
• Ensure all interventions comply with Sphere Standards, Core Humanitarian Standards, INEE Minimum Standards, cluster guidance and donor requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale, multi‑sector humanitarian programmes in conflict‑affected settings.
• Strong knowledge of humanitarian standards and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Fluent English; experience working in Sudan or similar contexts is an advantage.
