Technical Officer – Data Management for UNICEF Sudan

About the role
UNICEF Sudan is looking for a Technical Officer to support the Mother and Child Cash Transfer Plus (MCCT+) programme. The incumbent will ensure timely and accurate management of beneficiary data while complying with UNICEF’s data protection policies.
Key responsibilities
- Collect, validate and maintain beneficiary data for the MCCT+ programme across Kassala, Red Sea and upcoming states.
- Produce regular data quality reports and support monitoring and evaluation activities.
- Coordinate with health‑care facilities, partners and internal teams to ensure data consistency.
- Implement data protection safeguards and ensure compliance with UNICEF standards.
- Assist in the preparation of programme performance dashboards and analytical outputs.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Statistics, Development Studies, Economics or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in humanitarian data management, cash‑transfer programming, social protection or related areas.
- Familiarity with UN/NGO operational environments and stakeholder coordination.
