Supply Chain Coordinator – Zalingei, Central Darfur (Contract until Jan 2027)

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a solutions‑driven Supply Chain Coordinator to manage and optimise supply chain activities for its Darfur programme. Based in Zalingei, the role will ensure that procurement, logistics, inventory and asset management are aligned with programme objectives and donor regulations throughout the contract period ending January 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain procurement, warehousing, transport, staffing, distribution and training plans in close collaboration with programme coordinators.
• Coordinate with field staff to secure adequate warehouse space before dispatching supplies to field sites.
• Ensure distribution plans eliminate residual inventory at grant closure.
• Monitor compliance with IRC and donor regulations, and drive continuous performance improvement across the supply chain team.
• Maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders (finance, technical coordinators, field managers) and external partners (NGOs, inter‑agency groups, logistics cluster).

Required profile

• Knowledge of donor compliance requirements and best practices in logistics and procurement.
