Supply Chain Assistant – Logistics

About the role

The Supply Chain Assistant – Logistics will support the Supply Chain team in ensuring efficient logistics operations at DRC's capital office in Sudan. The role focuses on inventory, warehouse, asset, and fleet management while adhering to DRC’s internal procedures and donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Supply Chain Team Leader (SCTL) with inventory and warehouse management, ensuring compliance with the Operations Handbook.
• Prepare monthly country reports on warehouse stock levels, distribution, and disposal activities.
• Maintain accurate records for all inventory items, including stock/bin cards, temperature control, and expiry checks.
• Support asset management by tagging equipment, updating General Program Equipment (GPE) records, and compiling monthly asset reports.
• Maintain the fleet management database, generate monthly mileage reports, and analyse usage data.
• Implement DRC warehousing procedures across all warehouse premises.

Required profile

• Experience in logistics, inventory, or supply chain support within an NGO or humanitarian context.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Familiarity with donor and internal compliance requirements.
