Area Logistics Manager – Khartoum, Sudan

About the role

Humanity & Inclusion is seeking an experienced Area Logistics Manager to lead logistics operations for its emergency response in Khartoum, Sudan. Reporting to the Country Logistics Manager, you will oversee the efficient management of storage, transport and supply chain activities across the assigned area, ensuring timely delivery of humanitarian assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise Atlas Logistique teams providing storage and transport services for humanitarian actors.
• Plan, monitor and optimise logistics resources, including fleet, warehouses and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with humanitarian standards, safety regulations and organizational policies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for field teams, partners and authorities regarding logistics matters.
• Prepare logistics reports, forecasts and performance indicators for senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics management within humanitarian or emergency contexts.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, transport coordination and warehouse operations.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
