Shops Quality Specialist

About the role

Zain, a mobile telecommunications operator, is hiring a Shops Quality Specialist in its Commercial / Retail Sales department in Sudan. The role reports to the Retail Quality Assurance Team Leader and focuses on monitoring, inspecting and improving Zain retail shops so they meet established quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, inspect and propose measures to correct or improve retail shops to meet quality standards.
• Resolve shop issues and implement solutions with superiors, and make recommendations for shop improvements.
• Carry out quality checks and follow up observations turned into action plans.
• Ensure quality standards are observed across all Zain shops, and identify and analyse recurring defects and problems.
• Audit the physical appearance of shops and evaluate new locations against civil and design requirements.
• Manage third parties for civil works in shops and resolve civil problems, using the available budget to improve shop quality.
• Ensure the quality, accuracy and effectiveness of switching and fault detection/rectification reporting and site equipment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architecture Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in Civil or Architecture Engineering.
• Certification in quality management is preferable; Facility Management knowledge is preferable.

Required skills

• Strong verbal and written communication and reporting in Arabic and English.
• Proficiency in IT packages such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Reporting, metrics and analytics, including dashboards for executive and board reporting.
• Vendor and third-party management, change management and stakeholder relationship building.
• Analytical thinking, problem solving, planning and organisation.
