Senior Partnerships Coordinator

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Senior Partnerships Coordinator to lead and strengthen local partnerships across Sudan. Based in Port Sudan, you will work within the Awards Unit to ensure effective grant and sub‑award management, supporting the organization’s humanitarian mission.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, map, and engage local partner organizations in all IRC operational areas.
• Supervise Partnerships Managers and the Finance Partnership Manager.
• Oversee the full sub‑award lifecycle using the IRC’s PEERS system, including due‑diligence, compliance checks, and deliverable reviews.
• Collaborate with Grants Managers, technical coordinators, M&E, finance, and operations teams.
• Ensure adherence to donor regulations and internal compliance standards.
• Occasional travel to field sites for partnership development and monitoring.
