Senior Officer, Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting and Information Management

About the role

The Senior Officer will join the Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting (PMER) unit of the IFRC Khartoum delegation. Working closely with technical units and National Societies, the role supports the delivery of emergency and thematic operations through robust M&E and information management practices.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical units and National Societies to establish and maintain PMER functions for emergency and thematic operations.
• Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation processes and systems that align with IFRC standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the delegation, drawing on expertise from the Regional PMER Unit in Nairobi.
• Contribute to performance‑based management systems to improve impact, strategic planning, accountability and learning.

Required profile

• Proven experience in planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting within a humanitarian context.
• Ability to work closely with diverse technical teams and National Society partners.
• Strong understanding of IFRC standards and methodologies for M&E and information management.

Required skills
