Regional Finance & Grants Coordinator – Sudan, South Sudan & Chad

About the role

The Regional Finance & Grants Coordinator will provide strategic financial leadership for a multi‑country portfolio funded by the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO) across Sudan, South Sudan and Chad. This high‑impact position ensures that GFFO resources are managed, compliant and deployed to maximise programme impact in challenging humanitarian settings.

Key responsibilities

• Provide regional financial leadership and oversight for GFFO‑funded awards across Sudan, South Sudan and Chad.
• Lead budget monitoring, forecasting, burn‑rate analysis, financial performance reviews and scenario planning.
• Strengthen financial management systems and drive high‑quality reporting.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and enable informed decision‑making.
• Serve as the regional finance focal point, coordinating with country offices, program and grants teams, consortium partners and CARE headquarters.
• Ensure rigorous donor compliance and strategic deployment of resources.
