About the role
The Collection Manager will oversee the soft BKT portfolio for two‑wheeler loans, allocating work to vendors, coordinating agency resources, and ensuring timely resolution of collection and repossession cases.
Key responsibilities
- Allocate portfolio to vendors based on past performance and FOS availability, creating adequate manpower capacity.
- Review cases with FOS/TL and assign work according to disposition codes.
- Coordinate agency resources, plan calls, and provide support for difficult cases.
- Allocate and periodically audit receipt books and repo kits.
- Ensure agency billing closure within 60 days of work completion.
- Handle collection/repo customer service issues and escalations.
- Coordinate legal actions against chronic defaulters and work with enforcement agencies.
- Track and review BKT resolution with agencies and FOs.
- Recruit, train, and replace non‑performing FOs as needed.
- Close CRM queries within assigned TAT and address RCU audit queries promptly.
- Discuss receipt book discrepancies with agencies to prevent recurrence.
- Maintain 100% HHT utilization and report regularly to ACM/RCM.
Required profile
- Minimum 2‑3 years of collection experience in automotive products such as LMV, TW, 3W, LCV, MCV, or HCV.
- Experience managing collection agencies.
- Excellent data management skills.
- Proven individual performer.
