Programme Analyst – Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund

About the role

The Programme Analyst will support the Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund (WPHF) by contributing to programme design, financial management, and partner capacity building. Reporting to the WPHF Program Manager, the analyst works closely with UN Women headquarters and field offices to ensure effective implementation of gender‑focused peacebuilding and humanitarian initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical inputs to the development of programme strategies, proposals and annual workplans.
• Coordinate calls for proposals, organise technical review committees and assess partner capacities.
• Review and consolidate financial and narrative reports from implementing partners.
• Train partners on Results‑Based Management and support their capacity‑building needs.
• Monitor programme activities, track budgets and ensure compliance with UN Women rules and regulations.

Required profile

• Experience in programme management, financial monitoring and reporting within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong understanding of gender equality, peacebuilding and humanitarian financing mechanisms.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders across UN Women HQ and country offices.
