Knowledge and Evidence Management Officer

About the role

The Knowledge and Evidence Management Officer will support Save the Children Indonesia’s humanitarian and development programmes by producing high‑quality knowledge products, managing documentation, and assisting with monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning (MEAL) activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare briefs, summaries, presentations and reports that synthesize programme evidence and lessons learned.
• Maintain digital filing systems using SharePoint, Teams or Google Drive and ensure proper version control.
• Support MEAL teams in data collection, analysis, and dissemination of findings.
• Develop dashboards or infographics, preferably using Power BI, to visualise programme impact.
• Ensure all information handling complies with safeguarding and ethical standards for children and vulnerable groups.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, development studies, information management, communications, education, statistics or a related field.
• 1–3 years of practical experience in knowledge management, documentation, MEAL support, research or reporting within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong written communication skills in English and ability to produce clear, concise knowledge products.
• Attention to detail, good organisational abilities and capacity to manage multiple tasks under supervision.

• SharePoint, Microsoft Teams or Google Drive for digital documentation.
• Power BI or similar dashboard/infographic tools.
