Junior Finance and Accounting Officer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Finance and Accounting Officer to join our finance team in Sudan. The role supports daily financial operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, timely payments, and reliable financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Support month‑end closing and preparation of financial statements.
• Monitor budgets and assist with budget tracking.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Good communication skills in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP or accounting systems (experience with Odoo is a plus).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Bookkeeping and reconciliation capabilities.
