Information Management Officer – ABC Coordination (Sudan, Geneina)

About the role

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) is seeking an Information Management Officer to support the Cash Consortium of Sudan (CCS) in Geneina, West Darfur. The role is embedded within the Area‑Based Coordination (ABC) platform and focuses on routine data collection, consolidation, and information flow between partners.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and regularly update ABC partner databases, contact lists, participation records, and meeting minutes.
• Update 3Ws/service mapping trackers using standard templates, ensuring data entry, cleaning, validation, and version control.
• Maintain action and referral trackers after ABC meetings, documenting commitments and follow‑up status.
• Serve as the state‑level IM focal point for coordination with IMPACT’s ABC IM team and feed validated data into IMPACT‑led systems.
• Follow data protection protocols, data‑sharing rules, and access controls for sensitive information.
• Support transparency and accountability by keeping accurate, auditable records.

• Ability to work closely with the ABC Coordinator and follow established data management procedures.
• Commitment to NRC policies, guidance, and procedures.
• Attention to detail and capacity to flag gaps, delays, or inconsistencies in partner submissions.
