Grants Management Coordinator

About the role

The Grants Management Coordinator will be based in Port Sudan and will provide comprehensive grants management support to the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) in Sudan. The role ensures timely donor communication, high‑quality reporting, and effective coordination of proposal development and contract management across programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver narrative and financial reports that accurately reflect project progress and status.
• Lead the development and submission of concept notes, proposals, and funding applications for the assigned portfolio.
• Manage the end‑to‑end process for CE/NCE requests, ensuring compliance with donor guidelines.
• Facilitate Go/No‑Go decisions, kick‑off meetings and document outcomes for all grants.
• Coordinate partnership contracts and maintain alignment between programme and support departments.
• Monitor donor compliance, applying correct procedures and guidelines throughout the grant lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in grants management, donor reporting, and proposal development, preferably in humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong understanding of donor compliance requirements and contract management.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively with programme teams and external partners.
