Awards, Grants and Partnership Manager

About the role

The Awards, Grants and Partnership Manager will lead the development and management of award and grant programmes and build strategic partnerships to support Relief International’s humanitarian work in Sudan and the wider region. Based in Port Sudan or Karthum, the role requires regular travel to project sites, including cross‑border missions to Chad.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, design and administer awards and grant opportunities aligned with organisational objectives.
• Manage the full grant lifecycle – from proposal development and submission to monitoring, reporting and close‑out.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, partners and stakeholders to secure funding and collaborative initiatives.
• Coordinate with programme teams to ensure grant compliance, timely disbursement and impact measurement.
• Prepare and present regular updates, financial reports and performance dashboards for internal and external audiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience in donor relations, grants management or partnership development within the humanitarian or development sector.
• Willingness to travel frequently to field locations, including remote and cross‑border sites.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
