Field Coordinator (Flying) – Geneina, Sudan

About the role

Solidarités International seeks a Field Coordinator (Flying) to lead humanitarian operations in Geneina, Sudan. The mission starts on 15 August 2026 for a six‑month fixed‑term contract, focusing on water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) interventions in a post‑conflict environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise field activities related to WASH projects, ensuring timely delivery of safe water and hygiene services.
• Manage logistics for staff movement, including flight arrangements and on‑site transportation.
• Monitor program implementation, collect data, and produce regular reports for donors and headquarters.
• Facilitate communication and partnership with local authorities, NGOs, and community leaders.
• Oversee safety and security protocols for staff operating in a volatile context.

Required profile

• Proven experience in humanitarian field coordination, preferably within WASH programmes.
• Ability to work in insecure and rapidly changing environments.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
