Corporate M&A Attorney (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate M&A Attorney to join a leading technology and internet company on a contract basis. The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while providing legal guidance on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate merger and acquisition agreements, asset purchase agreements, and related transaction documents.
• Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence on target companies, identifying risks and liabilities.
• Advise on corporate governance matters, including board and shareholder meetings and regulatory compliance.
• Structure and document corporate reorganizations, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth transaction execution.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of corporate law experience with a focus on M&A.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently.
