Senior Partnerships Coordinator

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a Senior Partnerships Coordinator to lead and supervise partnership activities across its Sudan operations. Based in Port Sudan, you will work within the Awards Unit to build strong local collaborations, manage sub‑award lifecycles, and ensure compliance with donor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise Partnerships Managers and Finance Partnership Manager.
• Identify, map, and document local partner organizations.
• Coordinate the full sub‑award process, including due diligence, compliance checks, and deliverable reviews.
• Maintain strong relationships with partners across Khartoum, River Nile, White Nile, Gedaref, South Kordofan, Blue Nile, and satellite offices.
• Collaborate with Grants Managers, technical coordinators, M&E, finance, and operations teams.
• Support overall grants management and ensure adherence to donor regulations.
• Occasional travel to field sites as required.

Required profile

• Solutions‑driven, passionate change‑maker with experience in partnership and grant management.
• Proven supervisory experience overseeing partnership and finance staff.
• Strong understanding of donor regulations and compliance processes.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel within Sudan.
