Capacity Sharing and Localization Manager – Sudan

About the role

The Capacity Sharing and Localization Manager will provide strategic and technical leadership for designing, coordinating and delivering capacity‑strengthening initiatives across the Collective Sudan (CCS) platform. Working in Darfur and other hard‑to‑reach areas, the manager will support the cash‑plus approach, promote local agency and ensure that capacity‑building activities are aligned with humanitarian objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of capacity‑strengthening programmes for CCS partners.
• Coordinate with local NGOs, civil society and market actors to ensure effective knowledge sharing.
• Oversee monitoring, evaluation and learning processes to track impact and improve interventions.
• Facilitate localization efforts by integrating local expertise into programme planning.
• Provide technical guidance on cash‑and‑voucher assistance (CVA) and related market‑based interventions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading capacity‑building initiatives within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong understanding of cash‑plus modalities and market‑based assistance.
• Ability to work in insecure, roving environments and engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
