About the role
The Country Pharmacist will support ALIMA’s humanitarian medical response in Sudan, ensuring safe and effective pharmacy services across health facilities and contributing to the organization’s mission to save lives and provide care for vulnerable populations.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate pharmacy activities in collaboration with national health authorities and local partners.
- Manage medication procurement, storage, and distribution to hospitals and health centres.
- Ensure compliance with WHO and national pharmaceutical standards.
- Support operational and clinical research projects related to malnutrition and viral haemorrhagic fevers.
- Provide technical guidance to field teams on medication management and safety.
Required profile
- Pharmacy degree with professional registration.
- Experience working in humanitarian or low‑resource health settings.
- Knowledge of supply‑chain management and pharmaceutical regulations.
- Ability to work in conflict‑affected environments and adapt to changing conditions.
