Operations Manager (Khartoum, Sudan)

About the role

The Operations Manager will lead and coordinate Humanity & Inclusion’s humanitarian programmes in Sudan, based in Khartoum. The position starts in October 2026 on a 12‑month renewable contract, overseeing a range of activities from logistics and physical rehabilitation to inclusive humanitarian action.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of humanitarian programmes across multiple states, including Gedaref, West Darfur, Al Jazirah, and North Darfur.
• Manage Atlas Logistique teams providing storage and transport services for humanitarian actors.
• Coordinate physical rehabilitation services, including stimulation therapy for children under five.
• Support inclusive humanitarian actions in partnership with local NGOs and consortium partners.
• Develop and finalise security arrangements and contingency plans in collaboration with the HAS Manager.
• Supervise emergency medical and post‑surgical rehabilitation activities alongside partner organisations.

Required profile

• Experience in managing humanitarian operations in complex environments.
• Ability to work with diverse partners and coordinate multi‑sectoral programmes.
• Willingness to work onsite in Khartoum and travel within Sudan as needed.
