Legal Translator

About the role

We are seeking a meticulous Legal Translator to join our consultancy in Khartoum on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The role involves converting legal documents between languages with absolute precision, supporting our legal and business teams in the Nordic and Baltic markets.

Key responsibilities

• Translate a variety of legal texts, contracts, and official documents while preserving legal meaning.
• Verify and adapt terminology to ensure consistency with local and international legal standards.
• Prepare finalized documents for submission, filing, or client delivery.
• Collaborate closely with lawyers, consultants, and project managers to clarify source material.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of both source and target legal systems.

Required profile

• Degree in Law, Translation, Linguistics or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in legal translation or a comparable field.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
