Health & Nutrition Coordinator

About the role

The Health & Nutrition Coordinator will support the Programme Director in delivering health and nutrition programmes across West Darfur and Kordofan. Based in El Geneina, the role involves regular travel to field locations and may include travel outside Sudan for training or coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Work from the El Geneina office and travel to Concern field sites in Darfur and Kordofan.
• Operate in complex and potentially insecure environments, adhering to security and access conditions.
• Coordinate with programme teams to ensure health and nutrition activities are implemented effectively.
• Participate in training, coordination meetings and other work‑related travel outside Sudan as required.

Required profile

• Willingness and ability to work in insecure and challenging contexts.
• Readiness to travel regularly within Sudan and occasionally abroad.
• Ability to report to and collaborate with the Programme Director.
