Programme Manager – Humanitarian Nutrition (IFSAN)

About the role

The Programme Manager (IFSAN) will lead a multi‑location humanitarian nutrition programme in North Kordofan and Central Darfur, Sudan. Reporting to the Director of Program Operations, the role oversees a €2 million budget and ensures the delivery of Save the Children’s standards across both regions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and represent Save the Children in government, cluster and technical forums, maintaining strong relationships with health and nutrition authorities.
• Manage the partnership with international implementing partner ACF, overseeing a €900 k sub‑budget, procurement planning and financial compliance.
• Lead multiple technical and operational workstreams, ensuring alignment between Save the Children, ACF, research institutions and internal support functions.
• Monitor programme performance, quality and donor compliance through regular field visits to Central Darfur and North Kordofan.
• Prepare briefing materials, updates and presentations for senior management, donors and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate collaboration with universities and research partners such as the University of Khartoum, University of Kordofan and EPINUT.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale humanitarian programmes in conflict‑affected settings.
• Strong knowledge of nutrition, health and food security sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple partners, donors and government bodies.
• Willingness to travel frequently to remote field locations.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
