Tigrinya Language Expert (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a native or near‑native Tigrinya speaker to help train next‑generation AI systems. Your linguistic expertise will ensure high‑quality, culturally appropriate Tigrinya data for AI models, without requiring prior AI experience.

Key responsibilities

• Translate, review, and edit Tigrinya content for accuracy, tone, and cultural relevance.
• Evaluate, correct, and annotate linguistic data used in AI training.
• Provide detailed feedback to improve AI‑generated Tigrinya outputs.
• Collaborate with other linguistic experts and project managers to meet project milestones.
• Maintain consistency, clarity, and precision across all Tigrinya materials.
• Identify idioms, regional variations, and nuances to enhance AI understanding.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native proficiency in Tigrinya (written and spoken).
• Proven experience in translation, editing, or localization of Tigrinya content.
• Strong linguistic analysis and cultural knowledge of Tigrinya‑speaking regions.
