Technical Assistant – Monitoring, Evidence, Accountability & Learning (Sudan, Kosti)

About the role

The Norwegian Refugee Council is seeking a dedicated Technical Assistant to support Monitoring, Evidence, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) activities in Kosti, Sudan. The role focuses on managing complaints and feedback mechanisms, data collection, and ensuring compliance with NRC policies and PSEA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines.
• Implement the delegated CC project portfolio according to the action plan.
• Prepare status reports and organise tasks in line with priorities.
• Support the development and documentation of a data‑management system for MEL activities.
• Serve as the primary contact for all CFM‑related issues, handling beneficiary feedback, complaints and referrals.
• Conduct CFM sensitisation, focus groups and refresher sessions for staff and partners.
• Collaborate with the Digital Hub Community and program teams to document and resolve cases.
• Lead data collection, cleaning and verification for monthly and weekly reporting.
• Organise quarterly CFM sessions to share experiences and solutions.
• Update local partners’ progress reports in coordination with the MEL coordinator.
