About the role

We are seeking a native or near‑native Sudanese speaker to join our remote team and support AI‑driven language projects. The specialist will translate, edit and annotate Sudanese‑English content, ensuring cultural relevance and high linguistic quality.

Key responsibilities

• Translate, review and edit content between Sudanese and English with high accuracy.
• Evaluate and improve Sudanese language data for AI training and linguistic research.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine language guidelines and best practices.
• Create culturally relevant idioms, examples and contextual language resources.
• Analyze and annotate text to enhance natural language processing models.
• Ensure all deliverables meet standards of clarity, tone, and cultural relevance.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native proficiency in Sudanese with strong reading, writing and verbal skills.
• Proven experience in translation, editing or linguistic projects.
• Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities for language data evaluation.
