We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer specialized in backend development to join a leading global technology services firm on a contract basis. The position is hybrid, allowing you to work remotely while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to build and scale a platform used by millions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance, scalable backend systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to define requirements and deliver features.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimise existing services to improve reliability and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in backend software engineering.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and communicate with diverse teams.

Required skills

• Python, Java, or Go programming languages.

• Containerisation and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD pipelines and version control with Git.
