Remote Script Writer – Full‑Time/Contract

About the role

We are seeking a highly creative, imaginative, and detail‑oriented Script Writer to craft compelling narratives for a variety of media, including YouTube videos, commercials, television, and digital campaigns. This remote position works closely with production and creative teams to translate rough ideas into polished, production‑ready scripts that align with brand voice and audience expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and write high‑quality scripts tailored to specific media formats.
• Brainstorm story ideas, themes, and character development with directors, producers, and the wider creative team.
• Conduct deep research to ensure factual accuracy, realism, and authenticity.
• Craft realistic dialogue and pace action to advance plot and reflect character personalities.
• Participate in script readings and revise scripts based on stakeholder feedback.
• Maintain consistency and format all scripts according to professional industry standards.
• Manage multiple writing projects and meet strict production deadlines without compromising quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, English, Communications, Film, or a related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of professional experience as a Script Writer, Screenwriter, or Copywriter.
• Exceptional narrative development skills with a deep understanding of pacing, structure, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to incorporate constructive criticism.
• Flexibility to adjust writing style for various audiences and project requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with scriptwriting software such as Final Draft, Celtx, or Fade In.
• Robust portfolio showcasing a diverse range of scripts or produced work.
