Remote CMS Developer (Contract/Full-time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CMS Developer to design, build, and maintain custom content management system solutions for our clients. The position is fully remote and operates on a contract basis, offering the chance to work with a variety of platforms such as WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, and Magento.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and scale custom CMS applications, including themes, modules, and plugins.
• Translate UI/UX mockups into responsive, cross-browser web pages.
• Configure custom post types, fields, and taxonomies to create intuitive editing experiences.
• Optimize performance, ensure security, manage backups, and apply regular updates.
• Implement technical SEO best practices and integrate third-party APIs, CRM systems, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
• Collaborate daily with designers, back-end developers, and content stakeholders to meet brand guidelines and project timelines.
• Document code and maintain technical documentation for future maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of professional software development focused on CMS platforms.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and manage time effectively.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and attention to design detail.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox/Grid), JavaScript (ES6+).
• Server-side programming: PHP, Python, or Ruby.
• Extensive experience with WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, or Magento.
• Custom post types, custom fields, theme and plugin development.
• API integration, database management, and custom backend architecture.
• Technical SEO implementation and integration of Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics.
