About the role
World Vision is seeking a Program Manager for the Rapid Interventions through Shared Engagement (RISE) initiative in Sudan. The role leads the emergency response across East Darfur, Khartoum and Blue Nile, ensuring vulnerable children receive timely, high‑quality multisector assistance.
Key responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership, coordination and quality assurance for the RISE emergency response.
- Manage partner relationships and integrate program activities across WASH, Health, Nutrition, Protection and Education in Emergencies.
- Oversee design, implementation, monitoring and adaptation of sector interventions.
- Ensure operational excellence and compliance with World Vision standards.
- Collaborate closely with sector specialists and zonal operations teams.
Required profile
- Proven experience in managing humanitarian programmes in complex emergency settings.
- Strong understanding of multisector coordination (WASH, Health, Nutrition, Protection, Education).
- Ability to lead diverse teams and engage effectively with partners and donors.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
