Monitoring & Evaluation Officer – Khartoum, Sudan

About the role

The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will support the design, implementation, and management of MEAL systems for Sudan Agwa projects in Khartoum State. The role ensures high‑quality data collection, analysis, and reporting to measure performance, inform decisions, and satisfy donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monitoring plans, indicator tracking tables, and reporting tools.
• Collect, verify, clean, and analyse quantitative and qualitative project data.
• Conduct routine field monitoring visits to verify implementation quality.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and donor‑required monitoring reports and dashboards.
• Support baseline, end‑line, needs assessments, surveys and evaluations.
• Conduct data quality assessments and support complaint‑feedback mechanisms.
• Provide technical support and training to project staff on data collection and reporting tools.

Required profile

• Experience working on monitoring and evaluation in humanitarian or development projects.
• Familiarity with MEAL processes, data verification, and donor reporting.
