Field Coordinator – Feina (Humanitarian)

About the role

MdM is opening a new mission in Feina (South Darfur) to support displaced populations. The Field Coordinator will lead the establishment and daily management of the Feina base, ensuring that all programmes operate smoothly and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Feina base and supervise a team of expatriate and national staff.
• Implement MdM policies, frameworks and procedures across operational, administrative, financial, HR and material areas.
• Lead project implementation according to proposals, monitor budgets and coordinate with NGOs and government bodies.
• Ensure staff security, safety and compliance with security regulations.
• Continuously assess the humanitarian and security context and report updates to the General Coordinator.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing humanitarian field operations or base management.
• Strong understanding of security protocols and ability to ensure staff safety.
• Experience overseeing budgets, administrative processes and HR matters.
• Ability to work in a complex, rapidly changing environment.
