Egocentric Video Data Collector

About the role

We are seeking self‑motivated individuals to record first‑person (egocentric) video of everyday activities. The footage will be used to train next‑generation AI models and humanoid robots. You will work remotely, wearing a head‑mounted smartphone or smart glasses while performing routine tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Capture raw POV video of meaningful daily tasks in various environments.
• Wear provided head straps or smart glasses to record hands and objects interacting naturally.
• Follow strict recording specifications (stable lighting, landscape orientation, specific resolution and frame rate, proper camera angles).
• Upload unedited video files and complete short metadata forms on the project portal within agreed timeframes.
• Collaborate with the QA team and re‑record clips if they do not meet framing or duration requirements.

Required profile

• Access to a modern smartphone capable of 1080p video at 30/60 FPS (device provided if needed).
• Suitable residential or workspace environment where you can perform routine activities.
• Strong attention to detail to keep hands visible, avoid mirrors/reflections, and maintain steady framing.
• Privacy‑conscious: ensure no faces, personal IDs, or sensitive data are captured.
• Self‑starter able to commit 4–20 hours of usable footage over the project timeline.
