Campaign Consultant – Advocacy on Women's Participation in Peace Processes

About the role

UN Women is seeking a Campaign Consultant to design and provide technical support for a two‑month advocacy campaign that promotes women’s meaningful participation in peace negotiations. The consultant will work closely with women‑led organizations (WLOs) to ensure the campaign is owned by women peace actors and delivers coherent, impact‑driven messaging.

Key responsibilities

• Design a three‑day workshop that engages WLO members in campaign planning and coordination.
• Consolidate workshop outcomes into a comprehensive campaign design proposal.
• Develop and harmonise advocacy messages that counter hate speech and marginalising narratives.
• Identify and propose relevant media outlets for campaign dissemination.
• Coordinate with UN Women and partner organisations to ensure alignment with the Women, Peace and Security agenda.

Required profile

• Proven experience in gender‑focused advocacy, peacebuilding or related fields.
• Demonstrated ability to work with civil‑society organisations and facilitate participatory processes.
• Strong understanding of the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) framework and related international standards.
