Backend Engineer Annotator

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical Backend Engineer Annotator to support AI development by reviewing, annotating, and validating backend engineering datasets, code samples, and system design outputs. The role is critical for training AI models that understand backend workflows and code quality.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and annotate backend code samples and engineering workflows.
• Label datasets that involve REST APIs, GraphQL, and other backend processes.
• Validate scalability, performance, and reliability standards of server‑side code.
• Provide structured engineering reasoning and evaluation feedback.
• Assess code performance, logic accuracy, and security compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical field.
• Prior experience reviewing code or conducting technical assessments.
• Strong understanding of backend security principles and secure coding standards.
• Familiarity with authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, and session management.
