Surgeon (General, Orthopedic & Plastic) – Full‑time

About the role

The Doctor Surgeon will deliver comprehensive surgical care at our Khartoum State facility, handling pre‑operative assessment, operative procedures, and post‑operative management. This full‑time, on‑site position works within a multidisciplinary team to ensure high‑quality, evidence‑based patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
• Develop treatment plans and obtain informed consent.
• Perform surgical procedures across general, orthopedic, and plastic specialties.
• Coordinate post‑operative care and multidisciplinary follow‑up.
• Maintain accurate medical records and participate in case discussions.
• Adhere to clinical protocols and promote patient education.
• Contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives and mentor junior clinicians.

Required profile

• Medical degree with completed surgical residency or equivalent specialization.
• Valid medical and surgical licensure (or eligibility) for practice in Sudan.
• Strong foundation in general medicine and surgery.
• Clinical expertise in orthopedic and plastic surgery; familiarity with ophthalmology is a plus.
• Commitment to ethical practice, cultural sensitivity, and compliance with hospital policies.
• Willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
