Senior Sexual & Reproductive Health Manager

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a Senior Sexual & Reproductive Health (SRH) Manager to lead integrated SRH programming in South and West Kordofan, Sudan. The role provides strategic, technical and operational leadership to ensure high‑quality SRH services for women, girls, adolescents and displaced populations in a fragile, conflict‑affected environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and supervise SRH interventions across health facilities and communities, including family planning, maternal and newborn health, post‑abortion care, STI management, Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) and Clinical Management of Rape (CMR).
• Strengthen quality of care and capacity of providers for Basic and Emergency Obstetric and Neonatal Care (BEmONC/EmONC), antenatal/post‑natal care and safe deliveries.
• Coordinate with humanitarian partners, government authorities and local stakeholders to ensure service continuity and integration.
• Monitor program performance, ensure compliance with IRC standards, and produce technical reports for donors and senior management.
• Lead staff recruitment, training, mentorship and supervision to build a resilient SRH team.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Public Health, Medicine, Nursing or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing SRH programs in humanitarian or conflict‑affected settings.
• Demonstrated experience with MISP, CMR, BEmONC/EmONC and GBV response.
• Strong analytical, reporting and coordination skills.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
